Southern Oregon (and far Northern California)

We live outside Ashland, Oregon and are excited to explore class 2-3 runs in the area, perhaps extending up to class 4 or 5 if the big ones are walkable. We’d enjoy hiking in and boating out, or rivers with a wilderness-y feel. We have previous wilderness and whitewater experience, but are new to these craft. We’d enjoy talking with and meeting other packrafters, as well as sharing info.

Possible future trips:
Rogue River (many different stretches)
Illinois (low water)
Chetco (hiking in)
Klamath
Scott
Smith
Cal Salmon
Umpqua, particularly the North Umpqua
Klamath & Tule Lakes for birdwatching
high mountain lakes
small rivers that usually don’t get much notice…

Further afield:
Owyhee River
Bruneau
Eel
Grand Ronde
Imnaha
Minam
desert SW!

Hello!
I am going to be doing a West Coats swing in early to mid-April and would love to get some boating in. I will be in the Napa/San Fran area for much of April. My schedule is really flexible, so if you have any trips in mind I would love to explore the area. I have 3 years experience with probably 150+ trips down Class II-IV and love every river/creek Ive ever been in. Let me know if you have any ideas, thanks!
