A friend and I flew into the toe of the Powell glacier with Matt Keller from Blue Ice Aviation (Sheep Mountain). Fun class II down to Caribou Creek. This is about a four hour trip. As rule of thumb I would recommend starting this float before 10pm when you have to work the next day. Interesting dark bushwhacking up to car at Gold Mining Turnout on Caribou Creek. A packrafting classic!!!
