Bought this as a Christmas present for my son-in-law and didn’t realize his head was bigger. This is a new glossy Yellow helmet, size Large. $40. Prefer to sell it in or near Anchorage Alaska to avoid the extra expense of shipping. Nice helmet, brand new except taken from the box and tried on only to realize he needed an XL. Purchased new from NRS in November 2009. MSRP is $65. Here’s the manufacturers notes: High-density ABS shell for durability, and dual density EVA foam lining for multiple-impact protection. Adjustable chin strap with neoprene pad. Removable cupping ear guards with water channels. Features a support piece for the back of the head, which also gives you a better customized fit. Attachable, low-profile perforated ear pads give extra protection and warmth without impeding hearing. Drain holes. Certified to EN 1385 CE helmet standards.
