I am going on my first packraft adventure this summer. 10 day trip in the BMW. I live in the east, but am an experienced backpacker/kayaker. What do you wish you had known before your first trip? Any special gear you wish you had on that first trip?
For me ideal gear is almost always trip specific.
What route will you do, what is your packraft and backpack? What date is your trip? How many in your party? Will you fish?

About a ten day trip. Young’s creek to Holbrook creek on the south flathead. Fishing centric. I am borrowing a raft this time. It is an NRS and not great I understand but I will make do this time. Looking for a used alpacka at some point. I have an old kelty red cloud but we are taking horses over the mtn. 5 in party. End of July thru first several days in august
