Shot in the dark here as it doesn’t seem like a lot of info out there on this stretch of river. Has anyone here been on it? Wondering what a trip from Guilbeau Pass down to the river then float to Arctic Village might be like?
Not the stretch of it you are talking about, but I paddled from Arctic Village to Venetie this past fall on the east fork/main chandalar. Was braided and fast class 2 for most of it. Lots of fun.
