I recently completed a 2-week and 275+ mile packrafting tour of Central and Southern Patagonia. Starting near Balmeacede, Chile and ending in El’ Chaltén, Argentina, I paddled the Río Ibíñex, Río Chacabuco, lower Río Baker, and Río de las Vueltas. This region is a packrafting wilderness paradise with much more to be done.
