Anyone seen “Encounters at the End of the World” by Werner Herzog (of Grizzly Man fame)? He interviews a Russian guy working in a shop in Antarctica who whips out an Alpaca raft and remarks about how living under the Iron Curtain made him believe he needed to have the means to get away at any time.
