Selling a used Alpacka Gnarwhal packraft in good condition. Purchased new from Alpacka in November 2023, well cared for, and always stored in a climate-controlled environment between trips. It’s a fantastic, capable boat with many good seasons to go.
Has the scuffs you’d expect with two seasons of use but has never been patched or needed any repair beyond a dot of aqua seal I used for a pinhole on the zipper dock (pictured below).
Boat will ship with the standard seat, footrest, and thigh straps, as well as the original mesh carrying sack and inflation bag. I added grab lines and a tail that I can also leave or remove as desired.
A quick sizing note: In 2023, Alpacka did not use Medium / Large / XL sizing as it does in 2025 for the Gnarwhal. They sized it in 2023 as Regular or Long. This boat was a Long. According to Alpacka, that size is most similar to the specs for a 2025 Large.
According to an Alpacka rep I asked about the sizing:
“Long” = “Large” those sizes are worded differently for older Gnarwhals but are one in the same. Sizing has slightly changed from 2023 to 2025 and the internal length of the 2023 Large/Long Gnarwhal was about 46" whereas the current Large size features a 48.5" cockpit.
If you run a Large in 2025 sizing, this boat will fit you well.
