I am just wondering if anybody on the forums here has been to Alexander Supertramp’s Magic Bus?

Me, maybe five times:
1989, 1993, 1997, 2002, 2006, 2007
Never needed a packraft to get in or out – except in '89, I think

Magic Bus in 1993 with Krakauer when he’s working on the book. A packraft would’ve been good on this late July trip

Sean Penn’s an amazingly good river crosser (L). He says it’s from the years surfing in SoCal. He then hopped in to a packraft and took his son down this same river. First time and he did awesome with an overlaoded boat in blue jeans work boots.
