I’m looking for people interested in doing a backpacking/packrafting trip in Wrangell St. Elias NP next year, late August and early September. I have extensive backcountry experience but limited packrafting experience. I expect to be able to handle whitewater by the time I’m out there, as I will receive professional training and will take several trips before. I’ll be on the American River regularly up until then.
I’m looking for someone who is willing to share the cost of a bush flight. I am considering doing the Goat Trail and then floating the Chitistone and Nizina but am definitely open to other options.
