Looking to get out on the Lehigh for one of the remaining dam release dates this month,…let me know if anyone will be getting up there and has room for one more to join the group.

I’ll be paddling the Upper (White Haven to Rockport) on 8/24 with a few folks. We take about 6 hrs to paddle the 9 miles, which isn’t for everyone. Lots of surfing and eddy catching, etc. Let me know if you’re interested

Sounds good to me…Logan also reached out and said he is looking at doing west branch of the Potomac so I am unsure what the logistics of that would be but going to look at it a bit more and then can confirm.

Hi all, I’m in NJ and new to paddle sports in general. Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask. I’d love to park at a take-out spot, hike upriver, camp overnight, and float back to my car on day 2. Is that possible on the Lehigh? Has anyone done a trip like that? Thanks!
Mullica river in NJ is a better idea for a “float” trip…and has a hike in or paddle in only camping area….Lehigh isnt really a “float” as there are class II and class III rapids depending on flow rate….
