Granite Creek Sutton

This is frequently overlooked, and is a great valley run that is usually class III-III+, but does become class IV at higher flows. Look at it at the Glenn, if it seems like you could almost wade across it it is III-III+ in the canyon, if it seems fast and powerful at the road it is a handful in the canyon. Watch for wood, it is in the lower runout section for sure, and usually is found in a couple of spots in the canyon. Access is up Jonesville, Brad posted a good description in a thread. It is 5 hours from start of hike till you hit the pavement. The difficulty lies somewhere between Moose and Little Su, at normal levels, (whatever those may be, lol) but you will not just walk to the road without effort if your skills leave you hanging. Steep and fun, never boring.
