We just got back last night from the Flower Power.
Day 1: Leave Girdwood at 4pm and hike trail to Berry Pass.
Day 2: Upper 20 mile Schwakfest to Bagg Pass. See a black bear family.
Day 3: Bagg Pass to Inner Lake George. Long day and blue bird.
Day 4: Go through The Gorge, float Knik and get picked up near Knik River Bridge at 4pm. Going through the Gorge we scrambled over, on, and through ice bergs. We also saw some goats.
This route is hard and amazing. Roman is right, this route takes some luck to go. Puts to good use all the Alaska travel skills; big rivers, big schwak, bare ice, bergs, steep terrain, moraine, ect.
