I’m living in DC for the summer but am otherwise based in Durham, NC. Looking to find some partners for some Class II - III packrafting adventures. Until the end of July I’ll be limited largely to weekend trips, but in August I can get away with a longer mid-week trip. I’m relatively new to the Southeast and very open to trip ideas.

I don’t live in DC but used to. The middle and lower Yough are great Class II-III. It’s about 18 miles. Obviously you have to portage around Ohiopyle falls. In the summer you will very much not be alone. If you want solitude (and pretty incredible civil war history), check out the almost-never-run Monocacy River. It’s all flatwater. Antitem Creek is nice too.
Based in WNC and looking into some packrafting adventure. New to packrafting but fairly experienced in whitewater. Hit me up if you want to get something in the works.
