Like title, has anyone run the New River Gorge in a packraft? I’ve Ran it in a 4-man raft manytimes, but love to run it in the spring with a packraft. Anyone else done it on here??

I’ve never done it in a packraft, but I’d like to. I used to guide the New and Gauley. Done both rivers many times in a raft and plenty of times in an inflatable kayak. Finally bought a packraft this past summer. It’s definitely doable, but I wouldn’t want to try it for the first time in a packraft at too high a level!
One of my favorite runs in that area is the middle section of the Meadow river. It’s a beautiful stretch of river - class II-III and much lower volume. It would be great in a packraft.

Ran the New and the Upper Gauley during Gauley Fest '14. Big water feel, fun features, warm water, nice scenery, and the river was empty because everyone was on the Gauley.
