Just did this run yesterday with my wife in our new camo Alpacka Double Duck. The gauge at Nevada Creek was about 4.47 ft. It was a little low but scraping is avoidable with minimal attention. We actually put in about 1/2 mile above River Junction where there was a beautiful campsite. Didn’t see another soul on the river. Class I riffles the whole way except for a single Class II rapid about 1/2 mile above the takeout which was straightforward and a total blast. I posted a full trip report with photos here: https://dannyoutside.wordpress.com/2017/03/27/blackfoot-river-river-junction-to-scotty-brown-bridge/
Bike-shuttling was fun but I’m interested in good runs where the put-in and take-out are connected by good hiking trails.
